What Have We Done?
Whether we realize it or not, Mother Nature has been suffering these past decades due to human beings. Our greed and the constant need to destroy nature for the sake of development have consequences that we can see easily nowadays. For example, the beach has been experiencing coastal erosion events, the process by which local sea level rise, strong wave action, and coastal flooding wear down or carry away rocks, soils, and/or sands along the coast¹. (U.S Climate Resilience Toolkit), which causes the area of land to decrease.

What was once land to play futsal on, now has become a part of the sea due to coastal erosion.

3
Tree trunks that used to be beautiful trees full of leaves and hope, now remain a memory.

4
Plastics and nets get stuck on the branches, further polluting the beach.

A tree about to face the same fate as the tree trunks, only time will tell.
