AIWise Classrooms

Building Responsible Environmental Citizens through Ethical AI
AIWise Classrooms is a groundbreaking education initiative that integrates artificial intelligence (AI), environmental action, and ethical literacy into Malaysian secondary schools. Jointly implemented by the Green Growth Asia Foundation (GGAF), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), and the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE), the project equips students and teachers with future-ready digital skills while cultivating environmental responsibility and ethical decision-making.
AIWise Classrooms builds on a previous microplastic mapping project, evolving from manual STEM-based fieldwork to AI-powered investigations. The programme bridges digital divides by pairing digitally advanced schools with under-resourced schools, fostering inclusive learning and peer mentorship.
