Improper Dumping and Burning of Trash
Land pollution is a serious environmental issue caused by careless human activities such as littering, illegal dumping, and deforestation. Solid waste like plastics, metals, and chemicals left on the ground pollutes the soil and destroys natural beauty. Toxic substances seep into the earth, harming crops, wildlife, and even groundwater sources. Open burning of rubbish releases dangerous gases, worsening air quality and human health. If ignored, land pollution will threaten food security and biodiversity. Therefore, awareness, proper waste management, and community responsibility are crucial to protect our land and ensure a sustainable future.
