On 2nd July 2022, Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE) held the Media Writing Workshop at SMS Muzaffar Syah (SMS MOZAC), Melaka. We had Mrs Farisha Zainol, a WWF Malaysia Communication Manager and content creator as the speaker. The Media Writing workshop engaged students on how to plan and create good content on social media. The workshop includes writing good and attractive captions on social media posts to stimulate interest or action from active viewers, which help students to enhance their storytelling skills. The participants get to enhance their media writing knowledge by learning hashtag best practices and how to use Instagram insights to further strategise their content.
